Ten bucks says you do this too…

Do you ever feel as though you are always on your way to somewhere else?

As though your life is made up of ‘what’s next’ moments: what’s the next meal, workout, meeting, phone call, email, text, errand, obligation, conversation, or item to cross off your to-do list.

I call it ‘YOU ARE NEVER REALLY WHERE YOU ARE’ land.

It’s the place where days turn into weeks, weeks into months, months into years and then, oops! You’ve forgotten it’s your life you’re living.

Weirdly–and not on purpose–you’ve spent the lion’s share of it being in the future (where you thought you needed to be) instead of living in the present (where you actually are).

Sigh.

I’m pretty sure life isn’t about being somewhere other than where we are.

It’s about embracing the moments we are having as we are having them. It’s about being right here, right now, in the current season of life that we’re in…

Here’s to living life, on purpose.
